Everyone’s trying to figure out what to do with Twitter. Here’s a comment from an interested party who quit the game, “And then, about a month ago, we collectively decided to kill the account(twitter). It just didn’t fit our DNA or our needs. ”

What do you think about Twitter? Get a life or get going?”

Twitter is changing fast and being swamped by porn and spammers. unless they can control it, the end is nigh, in my opinion. as a way to make connections across the world, few media options can beat it, for its speed and accuracy. At the moment, I love it, and use it reasonably wisely. Whether these people are the real leaders by getting out early, only time will tell.

Thanks for your post John. In my opinion, there are very few marketing thought leaders on twitter who make tweeting worthwhile. Less than 1 percent of people who are on twitter, tweet on daily basis. That’s a very small number. As for agencies who use twitter I feel like most of them are following the rest by posting their recent awards, company news, etc. So where are their unique selling points? Are we just jumping on a bandwagon without any foresight because everyone else has a twitter account? And is posting the generic news and events being “transparent”? Is twitter something that all of our clients need and if so how would it be managed properly?
