    All too often, we focus on ourselves. It’s a natural tendency, particularly in the business world where our marketing efforts generally promote our own companies. But what if, just for a second, we turned our focus to those who benefit from working with us. Google did just that in a spot that aired last week and has experienced a viral explosion. “It Gets Better” highlights an organization that uses Google products to advance their mission.

    Many organizations take on pro-bono or non-profit clients and can take a lesson. Instead of simply patting yourself on the back for having those clients, why not showcase what your clients are able to do because you provide services to them? Show off the inner-city teenagers who are now assets to their community because you provided legal support when they needed it. Focus on the homeless shelter you saved from foreclosure. The list goes on and on.
