Small and midsize business marketing budgets are shifting online. From their recent study, SMB gurus BIA/Kelsey predict that 70% of SMB marketing will be online by 2015.

They count it, we make it happen. Every day, we’re helping traditional print clients branch out and explore online options.

To test the waters, we often start with a modest text-ad campaign on Google AdWords or promotions in e-newsletters—all it takes is straightforward reporting that plainly states what the goal of the campaign is, how close we are to reaching that goal and what the factors we need to improve to get our desired results.

Each click is a prospective buyer. Unlike any static advertising medium, an online campaign runs on impressions—not on paper, but on individual prospective buyers. At the end of the campaign we know exactly how many times our ads were seen because an actual person opened the webpage that contained our ad. This eliminates the uncertainty of an estimated circulation number for print ads, where you can only hope someone flipped to the section of the publication, where your ad was sandwiched among dozens of others.
