App of the Week: aisle411
Posted on October 11, 2011 at 11:54 am

Lost and Found (Next to the Macaroni)
How many times have you wandered around a store looking for a specific item, thinking that the store should give you a map that would make your grocery runs more efficient? Well, yours was not the only voice crying in the wilderness. aisle411, created by leading grocery and hardware stores shows a way out.
You load (type, scan or speak) your smartphone with the store location and your shopping list or recipe. Then aisle411 shows the shortest route to the items on your list.
While not all stores have maps available as yet, aisle411 can streamline your shopping list, provide product information, let you share experiences via social media and reward you with points and coupons. All of which beats wandering around.

Used it last week. Loved it! Perfect for an organization freak like me. Thanks for the tip. You are two for two with apps for me. Can’t wait to see what you have for next week.
