    Site Of The Week: http://www.theverge.com

A pair of editors from Engadget, a premier tech blog, decided they wanted more from the web experience. Most blogs are very simply designed and do not look unique at all. The Verge aims to dispel this trend, opting for a tablet-friendly interface. Instead of an outdated presentation (see Engadget, Gizmodo, or Consumerist), this site looks almost as if it was made to be touched. The landing page is filled with pictures, text overlays and banners listing reviews instead of ads. As to content, The Verge has already hosted a wealth of exclusive interviews in its short tenure. One of their editors even hosts a weekly article in The Washington Post, making the transition to print! Time will tell if any of the other major blogs follow suit.

Joe – There is no question that the design of this blog is very innovative. With that stated, do you agree there are ways it could still be improved?

    Jody,
There are definitely aspects of almost any site that can be improved. The site is very “busy”, and could be a tad overwhelming for a first time visitor. I am excited to see how they develop as time passes.
