Curious about design? Check out “Everything You Need to Know About Design on the Web.” The Piccsy hosted site allows visitors to browse 21 categories of curated design blogs and websites focused on everything from architecture to typography. To browse, a user simply clicks on a category of interest and is then presented with four websites and blogs, plus other pertinent sites.At first glance, the site’s minimalist design suggests that it exists essentially as a neutral exhibition of useful links. However, its impressive scrolling animation demands attention itself, before passing visitors on to a third party website. Also important to note is the “resources” category, which provides a more utilitarian list of destinations, such as art supply stores, professional design associations and other design oriented web apps.
